Landlord and staff very friendly nothing too much trouble rooms very spacious and clean

There was a strong smell of cooking at times in the downstairs area between the pub and the accommodation

The staff were very friendly, good clean accomodation at at reasonable rate. Breakfast was nice. Overall a pleasant stay close to Alnwick Castle.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, showing signs of having been recently refurbished. The quality of the welcome throughout our stay added to the overall enjoyment of our holiday. They were obliging in wanting to find out what we needed e.g. our choices for breakfast were bought in especially.

My single room had no window in it I think it was a large cupboard that had been converted

Could not understand the procedure for booking breakfast on arrival and then to be delayed on arrival for breakfast suggest that needs to be reviewed

It was really friendly. We were made to feel relaxed and nothing was too much trouble! The home cooked food was delicious and the rooms were homely and clean. We were near some fantastic stretches of the Northumbrian coast. I had a lovely break and wouldnt hesitate to visit again. We had a few drinks in the bar on the evening and the local people were friendly and the Ale was wonderful! Large rooms suitable for families. Great parking ! Thanks again to all at The Trap it was just the time out we needed!

extremely welcoming and pleasant couple run this village pub run as a real local very handy and much cheaper than similar accom in alnwick or alnmouth only 4 miles from warkworth castle on good bus route going to alnwick morpeth and alnmouth town and station breakfast very nice

Our stay was Great, good entertainment nice staff and a lovely pint. The big breakfast set me up for the day.

The atmosphere in the bar and the staff was excellent friendly and accomidating made to feel very welcome.

The room was not very clean and the bed only had one sheet on the mattress (no under protector)

The room facilities were very poor. The ensuite had no shower, the tv had no freeview and there was a lack of electrical sockets. The standard of cleanliness was bad, ranging from cobwebs in the bathroom to mould around the window. The full english breakfast was very ordinary and was cold when served.
